These Terms & Conditions ("Agreement") govern the participation, engagement, and collaboration with QAF Lab India ("Organization," "We," "Us," or "Our"). By enrolling in our programs, utilizing our services, or engaging in research and innovation activities, you ("Participant," "Member," "Collaborator," or "You") agree to abide by these terms.
1. DEFINITIONS
1.1 Organization: Refers to QAF Lab India (QLI), a non-profit entity dedicated to technological innovation, research, and enterprise transformation.
1.2 Participant: Any individual who has enrolled in a QLI program, research initiative, or training course.
1.3 Collaborator: Any organization, institution, or individual partnering with QLI for research, enterprise transformation, or technological advancement.
1.4 Program: Includes all courses, certification programs, research initiatives, and skilling academies offered by QLI.
1.5 Confidential Information: Any proprietary information, course content, research data, business strategies, or materials shared by QLI.
1.6 Sensitive Personal Data: Any personal, financial, or biometric information collected for program registration, security, or compliance purposes.
1.7 Jurisdiction: Any legal proceedings shall be subject to the jurisdiction of Chennai, India.
2. DATA COLLECTION & PRIVACY POLICY
2.1 Types of Data Collected:
- Personal Identification: Name, contact details, identity proof (Aadhaar, PAN, Passport).
- Financial Information: Payment details processed via secure third-party providers.
- Academic & Professional Data: Qualifications, certifications, work experience.
- Biometric Data (if applicable): For AI-based attendance tracking.
2.2 Purpose of Data Collection:
- Verification & Enrollment Processing.
- Attendance & Certification Eligibility Tracking.
- Internship Placement & Corporate Collaboration (with consent).
- Compliance with Regulatory & Legal Frameworks.
2.3 Data Protection & Security:
- We implement industry-standard encryption, restricted access, and secure data storage.
- No personal or financial data shall be sold, shared, or misused beyond legal and program-related purposes.
- Participants have rights under applicable privacy laws to request data access, correction, or deletion.
3. PARTICIPATION & CERTIFICATION ELIGIBILITY
3.1 Attendance Requirements:
- A minimum of 80% attendance is mandatory for live sessions, workshops, and practical labs.
- AI-based attendance tracking may be used for verification.
- Exceptions for emergencies must be officially documented and reviewed.
3.2 Eligibility for Certification: Participants must successfully complete:
- Assignments & Capstone Project.
- Practical Internship (if applicable).
- Final Certification Exam (if applicable).
- Grading : Pass 60-75%, Distinction 75%-85%, Excellent 85%-100%
- Failure to meet requirements may result in certification denial without refund or deferment rights.
3.3 Deferment & Re-Enrollment:
- Requests for deferment due to valid reasons must be submitted within the allowed timeframe.
- Deferment beyond the official policy period requires re-enrollment with applicable fees.
4. MEMBERSHIP & CANCELLATION POLICY
4.1 Membership:
- QLI offers lifelong learning opportunities, mentorship, and networking under its membership model.
- Membership benefits include access to advanced research, industry conferences, and innovation labs.
- Membership fees are non-refundable unless otherwise stated.
4.2 Cancellation & Transfer Policy:
- Membership is non-transferable.
- Cancellation is permitted within 30 days of enrollment; after that period, cancellations will not be processed.
5. CODE OF CONDUCT & ETHICAL STANDARDS
5.1 Professional Behavior:
- Participants must uphold integrity, ethical standards, and professionalism in all engagements.
- Harassment, discrimination, or unethical conduct will lead to immediate dismissal without refund.
5.2 Compliance & Safety:
- Participants must adhere to all safety and compliance policies for virtual and in-person engagements.
- Any misconduct affecting the safety and well-being of others will result in immediate action.
5.3 Collaborative Learning & Inclusivity:
- Respect for diverse perspectives, constructive discussions, and peer learning is expected.
- QLI fosters a collaborative, inclusive, and non-discriminatory learning environment.
6. INTELLECTUAL PROPERTY RIGHTS
6.1 Ownership:
- All course content, research materials, software, and intellectual property belong exclusively to QLI.
6.2 Restrictions: Participants are strictly prohibited from:
- Copying, distributing, or reselling course materials.
- Using QLI’s intellectual property for commercial purposes without written permission.
6.3 Legal Consequences:
- Any violation of intellectual property rights may lead to legal proceedings.
7. LIABILITY DISCLAIMER
7.1 No Employment Guarantee:
- Participation in QLI programs does not guarantee job placement, promotions, or career outcomes.
7.2 Limited Liability:
- QLI is not liable for disruptions, technical failures, or force majeure events affecting programs.
7.3 Compliance Responsibility:
- Participants must ensure that their AI-driven projects and enterprise innovations adhere to ethical and legal regulations.
8. DISPUTE RESOLUTION & GOVERNING LAW
8.1 Internal Resolution:
- All disputes must first be addressed through QLI’s internal grievance redressal mechanism.
8.2 Legal Jurisdiction:
- Any unresolved disputes shall be referred to arbitration under the Indian Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
- The governing law shall be the laws of India, with Chennai, Tamil Nadu, as the exclusive jurisdiction.
9. TERMINATION OF PARTICIPATION
9.1 Grounds for Termination:
- Failure to meet attendance or assessment criteria.
- Breach of ethical conduct, academic integrity, or intellectual property policies.
- Unauthorized distribution or misuse of confidential information.
9.2 Consequences:
- No refunds shall be issued upon termination.
- Participants terminated for misconduct will be permanently barred from re-enrollment.
10. MODIFICATION OF TERMS
- QLI reserves the right to update or modify these Terms & Conditions at any time.
- Participants will be notified of major changes affecting their engagement.
- Continued participation implies acceptance of updated terms.
11. Placement Assistance
- 100% Placement Assistance will be provided through out the period of Membership.
- The Placement Assistance includes Gap / Risk Analysis, Career Arc Analysis, Pleasure-Precision Fitness Analysis, Career Trajectory Analysis, Rewriting CV, Mock Interviews, Arranging workships, Talent Road shows, Hiring Spree/Mela , Live Interviews, Gap / Risk Analysis, Career Planning, Predicting and Achoring 3 next target roles.
- Continued participation in scheduled Programs across partners, clients, and with in Groups, implies acceptance of updated terms.
12. Habitutal Absentiesm
- The Program has been designed for the working class at large without quiting their job. The Recordings of the session will be made available for viewing in case the participants couldn't join the same.
- In the event of unavoidable reasons, any active member could not attend the scheduled program more than three consecutive days must be abligated to inform well in advance to the course coordinator to include in the future session within the period of active membership.
- Habitual absenteism will attract disciplinary action and the membership will be teriminated without notice and no refund of membership fee would be entertained.
